Chattanooga Police responded to a pedestrian struck at 7420 Bonny Oaks Drive at 9:35 p.m.

Police observed a broken down vehicle in the roadway in the 4500 block of Hixson Pike. The vehicle bore an unregistered VIN#. As the vehicle was parked in the road in the turn lane, clearly obstructing traffic, police called for a tow. R&D wrecker responded to the scene and towed the vehicle.

The manager of Dollar General at 7345 Lee Hwy. told police a woman entered the store and asked for a cell phone and phone card. She then grabbed the items and ran out the door. The officer was told the phone was not activated so it will not work. The merchandise stolen was worth $67.

Officers responded to an intoxicated person at a business at 4295 Cromwell Road. A man who said he ate a Delta-8 gummy and he was really high. The man appeared to not be able to stand on his own or form coherent sentences. After speaking to his wife, she agreed to take him home.
