Ladarean Lane
Chattanooga Police said the murder of 18-year-old Arecyon Lane on Saturday was caught on video.
They said a juvenile identified himself as being one of the shooters in the incident at 1330 E. Third St.
Police said Ladarean Lane was the second individual seen by witnesses firing at the victim. They said this was caught on camera.
Police said on Sunday that Lane came to the Police Services Center on Amnicola Highway and said he wanted to speak to a detective. He admitted being at the scane. He said the juvenile and the victim were in a physical altercation and he stepped in to help the juvenile.
Lane said he "heard two gunshots and his mind went blank."
He said he only remembers leaving the parking lot in a white vehicle.
Video showed the shooters leaving in a white Ford Taurus.
Lane and the juvenile are charged with criminal homicide and other charges.
