Emily’s List of Weekend Activities – October 12, 2018

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There’s a lot to do in Chattanooga and in nearby cities this weekend.

Alice Cooper will be performing at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Auditorium Friday night.

He has his own brand of rock psycho-drama, and is known for his dark and horror-themed theatrics – just in time for Halloween.

The show starts at 8 p.m.

You can also get into the Halloween spirit by heading down to Ringgold, Georgia to the Haunted Depot.

You can check out a haunted house, go on a ghost tour hayride or family hayride.

There’s even live music, and a special illusionist show on some nights.

It’s all happening from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Historic Ringgold Depot.

Here’s another idea for a spooky activity – you can go on an after-hours lanterns and legends adventure at Raccoon Mountain Caverns this weekend.

Go deep inside a cave at night, with just a lantern to light your way, while learning about the history and legends of the Caverns and surrounding area.

Tours are happening at 7 and 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

You’ll have to RSVP ahead of time.

You can enjoy this nice fall weather outside this weekend, watching the nation’s top aviators at the Wings Over North Georgia Air Show.

See the F-22 Raptor and A-10 Thunderbolt Demonstration Teams, and plenty of other planes perform.

Activities are happening from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday at the Russell Regional Airport in Rome, Georgia.

If you haven’t picked out a pumpkin yet to carve, you’ll have plenty to choose from at Blowing Springs Farm this weekend.

There, you can also get lost in a corn maze, ride a cow train, or go on a hayride, among other things.

The farm is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
