Mocs Set to Host Top Ten Team Saturday in Wofford

Chattanooga-(WDEF-TV) The Mocs host sixth ranked Wofford on Saturday, and the Terriers are certainly playing like a top ten team. They lead the SoCon in scoring defense at 16 points a game, and they’re second in the SoCon in scoring offense at 36 points a game.

Said head coach Tom Arth:”you know they are a team that creates a lot of explosive plays on offense and that really drives their team. It really drives their scoring. So we have to do everything that we can to limit those types of plays.”
Said defensive lineman Derek Mahaffey:”Like I said, they’re a good team. They are well respected. They’re going to come in here, and they are going to be physical, so you are going to have to prepare yourself for that during the week.”

Kickoff goes down at 3pm at Finley Stadium.
