Police have charged Barron White with a stabbing last Wednesday that initially left him and another man in critical condition.

White, 44, is charged with attempted homicide and aggravated assault.

In the incident at 802 W. 14th Street Court, police found White and Oscar "Big O" Billups both with multiple stab wounds. Both were rushed to Erlanger Hospital.

A woman said the two men argued after White refused to leave her porch. She said Billups stood up and told White to leave. She said Billups slapped White on the head when he would not leave.

The woman said White stood up and grabbed Billups. She said it appeared that White was punching Billups in the stomach, but she learned that he was stabbing him when Billups screamed to her.

She said the pair fell to the ground and Billups was able to grab the knife. She said Billups was on top of White stabbing him and yelled at him, "You stabbed me."

The witness said the two men had been drinking all night.

Police found a substantial amount of blood on the porch and the nearby sidewalk.
