The Salvation Army Opens Cold Weather Shelter

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – As weekend temperatures are predicted to drop below freezing, The Salvation Army will be opening a cold weather shelter at 800 McCallie Avenue beginning 6:00pm on Saturday.

The Salvation Army is asking for the community’s assistance with volunteers, blankets, and monetary support.

Volunteers can meet at The Salvation Army at 5:30pm.

Gently used blankets are currently in need and can be dropped off at 800 McCallie Avenue.
