Emily’s List of Weekend Activities – November 16, 2018

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There’s a lot to do in Chattanooga and in nearby cities this weekend.

Country music fans will want to be at the Walker Theatre Friday night to see the Band Perry. They’re in Chattanooga, as part of their Coordinates Tour.

The show starts at 8 p.m.

If you missed them in Nashville earlier this week, you’re in luck!

The Beach Boys are performing at the Tivoli Theatre Friday night, as part of their Reason for the Season Christmas Tour.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m.

Let it snow! If you haven’t see any yet this fall, you’ll get a chance to Saturday at the Creative Discovery Museum for its Snow Day.

In addition to the wintry precipitation, you and the kids can also enjoy winter-related activities like stackable igloos, and snowflake tortillas.

It’s all happening from 12 to 4 p.m.

Get a head start on your holiday shopping this weekend at the HoHo Expo.

There, you can check out dozens of area merchants, get pictures with Santa, and enjoy family-friendly activities.

The event is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, at the Chattanooga Convention Center.

If you don’t have all of your food for Thursday yet, the Thanksgiving Market is a good place to stock up.

You’ll have plenty of local meats, cheeses, breads, and produce to choose from.

You can also check out some unique handmade gifts for Christmas presents.

The market runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, at the First Tennessee Pavilion.
