Beach Boy Mike Love helps launch new Top 40 Radio Museum in Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – The studios of WFLI AM radio are now home to the Top 40 Radio Museum.

And they got some helping launching it with a member of the Beach Boys.

They held a ribbon cutting today, and inducted their first members to the Hall of Fame.

That included broadcasting legends Dick Clark, Wolfman Jack and Casey Kasem.

Beach Boy founder Mike Love was on hand for the ceremony.

It includes rock and roll memorabilia from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s.

WFLI AM was known as the “Jet Fly” during that time.

It provided the music many of us grew up on.

The Beach Boys played at the Tivoli Theatre Friday night.
