Firefighters Respond To Vacant House Fire On 14th Avenue

Chattanooga firefighters responded to a house fire at 4803 14th Avenue around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Firefighters with Quint 9 arrived on the scene to find flames visible on one side of the structure. 

Battalion Chief Chris Willmore, the incident commander, said the firefighters made a quick interior attack and got the fire under control in roughly ten minutes. No injuries were reported.

Chief Willmore said the house was vacant. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
