Emily’s List of Weekend Activities – December 1, 2018

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There’s a lot to do in Chattanooga this weekend.

Chattanooga’s 24-hour long festival kicks off Saturday.

Mainx24 showcases live music, local businesses, and fun events happening on the city’s Southside.

Activities are happening all day and night.

The Chattanooga Boys Choir is putting on their annual Singing Christmas Tree shows Saturday afternoon.

Guest artists from the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera Youth Orchestra, Ballet Tennessee, and the Metropolitan Bells handbell ensemble will be performing holiday music along with them.

The shows are at 12 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the Tivoli Theatre.

Get into the holiday spirit and watch The Polar Express in 3D at the Tennessee Aquarium’s IMAX theater.

The movie is playing at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., Saturday, and 5 p.m. again on Sunday.

The film is airing daily through December 27.

The Chattanooga Market is moving indoors for a little while for its annual Holiday Market at the Chattanooga Convention Center.

There, you can check out hundreds of local food vendors, artists, and shops selling unique Christmas gifts.

The market is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
