2 People Killed In Motorcycle Wreck At Veterans Bridge

Two people were killed in a motorcycle crash at the Veterans Bridge early Sunday morning.

At  approximately 1:24 a.m., the fatal crash occurred at 100 Barton Ave.

The Chattanooga Police Department's Traffic Unit responded to the scene.

It was found that a Honda VFR12 motorcycle was traveling east on Frazier Avenue approaching Barton Avenue. The driver failed to turn, continuing straight through the intersection.

The motorcycle struck a guardrail on the opposite side of the road and came to rest on the bridge.

Hamilton County EMS pronounced both persons, the, driver and passenger, dead at the scene.
