Two men were shot in the leg during separate incidents in Chattanooga on Tuesday morning.
One of the victims told police he was wounded during an attempted robbery.
At approximately 1:15 a.m., Chattanooga Police were dispatched to 100 Signal Hills Dr. on a person shot. Upon arrival, police said they found the victim lying in the roadway with a gunshot wound to the leg.
Hamilton County EMS responded and transported him to an area hospital. The injury is considered non-life threatening.
The victim's name was not given.
Then at approximately 7:27 a.m., Chattanooga Police were dispatched to a report of a person shot in the 4300 block of 14th Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers located the victim suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg. Hamilton County EMS responded and transported him to an area hospital.
The victim advised he heard several gunshots before realizing he had been shot.

That victim was identified only as a 54-year-old black male.
