Ed Morris has been charged in a case in which a woman said he raped her, then stole her clothes, cell phone, wallet and car.

Morris, 29, of 6349 Fisk Ave., was charged with aggravated rape, especially aggravated kidnapping and carjacking.

The woman said two other men were also involved.

Police said the woman told them that Morris is a friend of her uncle.

She said in the incident on March 11 that she was in the car with Morris when he pulled a gun on her and forced her to drive to a residence on Fagan Street.

The woman said after she was forced inside that Morris and the other two men raped her.

She said when she screamed for help that Morris stuck the gun into her mouth to silence her. She said Morris then forced the gun into her private area and then back into her mouth.

She said after they had finished raping her, they took her clothes, cell phone and wallet along with her 1997 Toyota Corolla.

She flagged down a passerby and was able to get a ride to her family, who took her to the hospital.

Police said she underwent a rape examination which showed extensive bruising and abrasion to her private area. She later had to be readmitted to the hospital for further treatment of problems caused during the attack.

Police said the woman was shown an array of eight photos and picked out Morris as one of the men who raped her and the one who carjacked and kidnapped her.
