Police want to talk to driver in fatal pedestrian struck case

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga police continue to look for the driver of a car that hit and killed a pedestrian two weeks ago.

Investigators say they have determined the driver was not at fault, but they need to speak with them.

The vehicle was a black Hyundai Sonata (2010-2014) like the one in the photo.

The incident happened around 2 AM on Saturday, May 12th in the 1300 block of Ely Road.

Roderick Jones Jr. was killed when he was hit by the car.

Investigators say he was walking in the lane.
