A woman who was gone from her home on the Westside for several days said she returned to find Vontel Deon Haddox sleeping on her couch.

She said Haddox told her he had been staying there with "Veronica."

The woman said she checked her bedroom and that of her daughters and found they had been ransacked.

She said when she went to confront Haddox he left out of the front door.

The woman said a window air conditioner in the living room had been broken out and several items were missing, including $1,500 cash. Also missing were $100 worth of food, a $700 HP printer, all of her daughters' clothes with tags still attached ($260), a $30 DVD player and various towels, sheets and blankets.

She found a sweatshirt and a key to her residence on the couch as well as a glass jar with marijuana inside.
