Emily’s List of Weekend Activities – June 29, 2018

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There’s a lot to do in Chattanooga and in nearby cities this weekend.

Hip hop fans still have time to make it to the Hip Hop Bash at the Dalton Convention Center Friday night.

Hip Hop artists Lil Boosie and Trina will be performing until 10 p.m.

If you’re not getting enough soccer watching the World Cup, head over to Finley Stadium Saturday night for a game you can actually see in person.

The Chattanooga Football Club is taking on Greenville.

The match starts at 7:30 p.m.

If you like ’80s music, you’ll want to watch Electric Avenue at the Songbirds South Stage Saturday night.

The band calls themselves the “most accurate and exciting ’80s Pop Tribute you’re going to find anywhere this side of 1988.”

The show starts at 9 p.m.

The pair known by some as the number one selling duo in music history is performing in Nashville Saturday night.

Daryl Hall & John Oates, known for their hits “Rich Girl” and “Kiss on My List,” are performing at the Bridgestone Arena downtown.

Train also opens up for them.

The concert starts at 7 p.m. Central Time.

The Chattanooga Market is getting in on the Fourth of July festivities, with its Sunday theme of Red, White and Blueberries.

You’ll get to enjoy blueberries in just about everything.

There are even blueberry pie-eating contests.

It’s all happening from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

And of course, there’s also Fourth of July fireworks shows happening both Friday and Saturday nights.
