Geory Summerow
A 6'6" Chattanooga man is facing charges after a woman said he forced his way into her car and threatened to hurt her if she did not drive him to a store.
The woman said she was afraid of Geory Summerow because of his large size.
Summerow, 46, of 712 E. 49th St., was charged with aggravated kidnapping, carjacking and robbery.
In the incident on May 31, the woman said she left her residence to retrieve some items from her vehicle. She said when she started to go back inside she was approached by Summerow and a black female. She said she did not know either one.
She said Summerow told her to get back into her car or he would "(mess) her up."
The woman said she complied and the couple got in the back seats. She said she was forced to drive to the Circle K on Signal Mountain Road.
She said Summerow went inside and returned with multiple cases of beer. She said he was followed by a female clerk because he had not paid for the beer. The clerk retreated when Summerow also threatened to "(mess) you up."
The woman said she called police as soon as the pair exited the vehicle at the Emma Wheeler Homes.
