Emily’s List of Weekend Activities – July 28, 2018

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There’s a lot to do in Chattanooga and in nearby cities this weekend.

If you like riding a bicycle, you have a chance to decorate one and ride in Collegedale’s 50th Anniversary Bike Parade.

Organizers say the route will follow the greenway from The Commons to Leyland Drive, around to Swinyar Drive, and into The Commons parking lot.

The parade starts at 8 a.m.

Bring your kids and sweet tooth to the Creative Discovery Museum this weekend for its 18th annual Honey Harvest.

There, guests can make their own honey products like lip balm or soap, participate in honey extraction, and meet beekeepers.

The event is happening from 12 to 4 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.

If you missed the Cirque du Soleil show when it was in Chattanooga in May, you’re getting another chance to go see it in Nashville.

Performances of the traveling show, Corteo, are happening all weekend at the Bridgestone Arena.

Shows are at 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. CT Saturday, and 1 and 5 p.m. CT on Sunday at the Bridgestone Arena.

Calling all you brides to be – Chattanooga is hosting a Summer Wedding and Expo Show at the Waterhouse Pavilion at Miller Plaza Sunday afternoon.

Brides can check out more than 75 of the top wedding professionals to help with their wedding planning.

The event is from 12 to 5 p.m.

If you like a combination of pop country and rock, you’re in luck.

On Sunday, Keith Urban will be in Atlanta for his “GRAFFITI U WORLD TOUR.”

Kelsea Ballerini will open.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre.
