Emily’s List of Weekend Activities – January 11, 2019

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There’s a lot to do in Chattanooga, and in nearby cities this weekend.

Car fanatics will want to be at the World of Wheels car show this weekend, which is already underway Friday night.

The Chattanooga Convention Center is packed with custom cars, trucks, and motorcycles, along with antique vehicles there.

You can also meet John Schneider from Dukes of Hazzard on Saturday, and Dave Kindig on Sunday, along with Star Wars and Transformers characters all weekend long.

World of Wheels is happening until 9 p.m., Friday.

It runs from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

If you’re looking for some laughs and great music this weekend, Something Rotten! is at the Tivoli Theatre.

The Broadway musical has shows at 2 and 7:30 p.m., Saturday.

If you like some of the music you hear at the movies, like in Superman and Jurassic Park, it’s written by John Williams.

And the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra will be performing his music Saturday night.

The show starts at 8 p.m. at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium.

It’s not too early to start thinking about getting out on the water this spring or summer.

If you’re looking to buy a boat, Atlanta has hundreds of them on display for its annual boat show.

You can also shop for gear and accessories.

It’s all taking place at the Georgia World Congress Center from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
