Emily’s List of Weekday Activities – January 15, 2019

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There’s a lot to do in Chattanooga, and in nearby cities this week.

If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to make Chinese food, look no further than Atlanta Tuesday night.

The Chinese Southern Belle duo, Natalie and Margaret Keng, will be giving a class on how to make Chinese dumplings.

It’s happening at 6:30 p.m. at the Cook’s Warehouse-Midtown.

Back in Tennessee, the Nashville Predators are taking on the 2018 Stanley Cup winners, the Washington Capitals, Tuesday night.

The hockey game starts at 7 p.m. CT at the Bridgestone Arena in downtown Nashville.

If you’d rather go to a concert, pop singer Jesse McCartney is also performing in Nashville Tuesday night.

His show at Marathon Music Works starts at 8 p.m. CT.

In the Scenic City, the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera will be performing Stravinsky’s Firebird on Thursday night.

The performance includes Tchaikovsky’s The Tempest, Alan Elkin’s Double Concerto, and Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Tivoli Theatre.
