CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There’s a lot to do in Chattanooga, and in nearby cities this weekend.

The Southeast’s oldest Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Fiction literary convention is taking place this weekend.

ChattaCon 44 is underway at the Read House right now.

Attendees have a lot to do – from detailed conversations on sci-fi fandom, to meet and greets, to costuming classes.

It’s all happening through Sunday.

If you like the outdoors, you’ll want to check out the Lookout Wild Film Festival.

It started Thursday night.

The festival features the best outdoor adventure and conservation films from around the world.

Films are being shown throughout the day and night all weekend long at the Tivoli Theatre.

Brides to be will want to be at the Chattanooga Pink Bridal Show on Sunday afternoon.

It’s your one-stop-shop for wedding planning, with many wedding professionals from the area all under one roof.

It’s happening from 12 to 5 p.m. at the Chattanooga Convention Center.

Nashville Restaurant Week is wrapping up this weekend.

It’s the perfect excuse for foodies to try out the Music City’s best restaurants.

Many are offering special menus, dishes and deals on both Saturday and Sunday.
