Girl, 19, Stabbed After Altercation On Grove Street; Latricia Hood, 19, Is Arrested

A 19-year-old girl was stabbed on Saturday night on the Westside. Latricia Alexandria Hood, 19, has been arrested.

At approximately 7:39 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to the 1100 block of Grove Street on a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, Police located the teen suffering from stab wounds.

Hamilton County EMS responded and transported the victim to a local hospital.

The CPD Violent Crimes Unit was notified and responded. Investigators were able to determine that the victim and suspect were in a disorder prior to the suspect stabbing the victim.

The CPD Fugitive Unit with assistance from the US Marshals and HCSO Fugitive arrested Ms. Hood on Monday.

She is charged with attempted criminal homicide. She has been transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
