A motorcyclist, Noah Payton, 21, was killed in an accident Tuesday afternoon on North Access Road near Hixson Pike.
At approximately 1:50 p.m., the Chattanooga Police Department's Traffic Unit responded to 4100 North Access Road on a two-vehicle traffic crash.
A Honda motorcycle, driven by Mr. Payton was traveling east on N. Access Road. A Ford F450 was on Birmingham Drive at the stop sign attempting to make a left turn (west bound N. Access Road).
The Ford turned into the path of the motorcycle. The motorcycle struck the Ford.
Mr. Payton was taken to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS where he was pronounced deceased.
