The  shift manager at the Walgreens on Highway 58 said around 9:30 p.m. two black females came into the store and selected various items to purchase. They brought them to the counter and, while at the counter, asked to get several bottles of perfume. The manager said she got the perfume for them, but did not put it on the counter. Instead she put it under the counter until the items were paid for "due to the amount of perfume that had been getting stolen." She said one of the females then walked around the counter and grabbed the bag with the perfume in it, then started to run out of the store. Another female employee responded by grabbing the bag out of the thief's hand. In the process of grabbing the bag, the employee lost her balance and fell into one of the display cases. That broke the glass and caused an unknown amount of damage to the case. The two females then exited the store with about $100 worth of miscellaneous merchandise. They left in a gold-colored vehicle in an unknown direction on Highway 58.
