Police call man’s death on Sunday a homicide

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – The call on Sunday morning was a medical emergency.

But now Chattanooga investigators are calling the case a homicide.

It happened in the 200 block of Hunt Avenue near the Eastgate Town Center.

Police found 47 year old Starlin Fike behind the resident, where he was pronounced dead.

But they could not determine the cause of death.

On Monday, investigators ruled the case a homicide, after talking to the Medical Examiner.

 

They have charged 42 year old Luke Jackson with Criminal Homicide.
