Three people were killed and two others injured in a head-on crash in Dade County on Tuesday afternoon.
.Those killed were identified as 23-year-old Destiny Cagle of Bryant, Ala., Zachary Evans of Henegar, Ala., and 20-year-old Nathan Smith of Higdon, Ala.
The Georgia State Paatrol said Ms. Cagle was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro north on Georgia 301 when she crossed the center line on a curve. Her vehicle struck head on a 2009 Nissan Sentra driven by Zachary Evans.
There were three passengers in the Camaro.
Nathan Smith, a back seat passenger, died at the hospital.
William Wells, 24, of Ider, Ala., is in critical condition.
Isaac Wright of Higdon, Ala., suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
One of the vehicles flipped several times after the collision.
It happened on Highway 301 near Bible Camp Road.
