Mobile Home Destroyed By Fire Wednesday Night In Falling Water Area

Fire destroys a mobile home Wednesday night. At 11:55 p.m,.a neighbor called 9-1-
1 reporting a fire at 845 Pickett Gulf Road (Falling Water area).

Dallas Bay Volunteer Fire Department responded and arrived on the scene reporting 75 percent of a mobile home was on fire.

Neighbors reported to fire officials the trailer was abandoned and was being cleaned out for demolition.

Dallas Bay VFD requested a Mutual Aid response for Chattanooga Fire Department and Soddy
Daisy Fire Department to stand by at their stations for any additional emergency calls.

Fire officials reported there was no electricity to the mobile home. The home is a total loss and
damages are estimated at $25,000.

The cause of the fire is undetermined and will be under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. No injuries were reported but HCEMS was on the scene for any potential injuries to the firefighters.
