The Chattanooga Police Department is asking for the community's assistance in identifying two suspects involved in an armed robbery that occurred at a retail business on Lee Highway.

On March 27, at approximately 12:20 p.m. two suspects robbed the Dollar General at 7345 Lee Highway and some of the store's patrons.

While making entry through the back of the store, the suspects held two employees and another person at gunpoint. Both suspects then forced the three victims to enter the cooler, and took their cell phones and wallets before closing the cooler door.

During the robbery, both suspects displayed handguns and demanded money from employees and patrons. They also stole Swisher Sweet Cigarillos and endangered a baby who was in the store.

Both suspects ran from the sales floor and exited the same way they entered the business.

The suspects are described as a black male, short, wearing a black ski mask, dark colored pants and long-sleeved shirt, armed with a handgun, and a black male, about 6’, wearing dark colored pants, dark colored hoodie, and some type of white mask covering his face, armed with a handgun.

After a canvas of the area, Chattanooga Police Robbery investigators located video of the suspects' possible getaway vehicle.
