Two brothers remodeling a house on Ocoee Street said the son of the owner of the house fired six shots at them with a high-powered weapon.

The incident happened on March 20 and Thaddius Gerrard Montgomery was taken into custody on Thursday.

Montgomery, 28, of 2401 Ocoee St., was charged with aggravated assault.

The brothers said they had been remodeling a house for Tammy Montgomery at 2408 Ocoee St.

They said Thaddius Montgomery called them to come to 2401 Ocoee to talk about the job.

The brothers said Montgomery was on the porch and he began firing at them while they were still inside their vehicles. They said Montgomery was firing at them with a possible HK47.

Police found a bullet hole in one of the vehicles on the right side back passenger door.

The brothers waved down the first officer reporting to the scene. The report says the SWAT Team arrived to try to take Montgomery into custody.

Montgomery was placed under a $100,000 bond.
