Chattanooga Has Still More Shootings - One On Bennett Avenue, Another Involves Juvenile Victim

Chattanooga had two more shootings early Saturday morning, including one on Bennett Avenue.

Police responded to the 2100 block of East 12th Street on a person shot call. Officers later located a crime scene in the 2000 block of Bennett Avenue.

The victim was taken to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS.

The incident happened around 2 a.m.

Witnesses said they heard arguing prior to the shooting.

Then at 7:14 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a local hospital on a report of a juvenile who showed up with a gunshot wound.
 
Investigators with CPD's Violent Crimes Bureau are working to determine location/jurisdiction and circumstances surrounding the incident.
 
The injury is considered non-life-threatening per medical staff.
