A third man has been charged in connection with a murder at an apartment building near the UTC campus.

Police said Hyacinth K. Taylor, 25, was first seen with the gun used to kill Rigoberto Jarquin and injure Miguel Pimentel and Jose Garcia-Lopez.

Taylor was charged with first-degree murder and two counts of attempted first-degree murder.

Brothers Toddie and Omerrieal Woods were arrested earlier on the same charges.

Police said the incident at 4:30 a.m. on July 14 at the 930 Douglas St. Apartment was caught on video.

Multiple black males are seen trying to force their way into Apartment 240.

Taylor is seen leaving the group and running down the hall. He returns a short time later, removes a pistol from his waistband and hands it to Omerrieal Woods, who then walks down the hall and passes the gun to his brother.

Police said Toddie Woods then walked through the group and fired multiple rounds through the door of the apartment.

Mr. Jarquin was found dead on the floor. The other two men had injuries.
