Angela Marie Lilly
A Chattanooga man told police he wound up getting beaten up and robbed after going to meet a woman he met online.
Angela Marie Lilly, 39, of 2001 S. Lyerly St., was charged with aggravated robbery.
In the incident last Friday, an officer interviewed the victim at the Lyerly Street address on the back of an ambulance. His eyes were swollen shut and blood was coming from his nose and mouth.
He said he met the woman on the app Skout. The female told him to come to 2001 S. Lyerly. When he arrived, the woman was outside. They then went inside. Then a white female wearing a red shirt and jean shirts brandished a gun.
He said she demanded his wallet, cell phone and car keys. He handed those over, but he struggled with her over the gun. When he did a black female came out along with two black males, and they all joined in the attack on him.
Police said they were notified that Ms. Lilly had gone to the hospital, claiming that the man had sexually assaulted her. However, a detective said she changed her story several times.
The red shirt she was wearing had a tear in it, which corroborated the victim's story, it was stated.
