Man, 35, Shot While Walking On Highland Park Avenue

A 35-year-old man showed up with a gunshot wound at a local hospital at 8:07 p.m. Monday.  Police responded and called for the Violent Crimes Bureau to respond.

The victim advised he was walking in the area of the 300 block of North Highland Park Avenue when he observed two vehicles driving down the road in a disorder.  He advised he heard a gunshot and began to run away, when he noticed he had been shot.

Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate evidence of a crime scene.
