Jamonte Oliver Indicted For Murder Committed When He Was 17

Jamonte Oliver has been indicted for a murder in the 3200 block of Wilcox Boulevard that happened last April when he was 17.

Oliver was earlier arrested and placed at the Juvenile Detention Center in the death of Malik Sawyer, 18.

Oliver has been indicted by the Hamilton County Grand Jury now that he has turned 18. He is due to appear for an arraignment in Criminal Court on Friday.

The shooting occurred early on a Sunday morning. The victim was taken to the hospital in a personal vehicle. By the time police arrived, he had died.
