Chattanooga Market returns and Rabbit Valley market debuts on Saturday

We’ve got some great news for you about Farmers Markets returning this spring.

We’ve got the big one coming back this weekend.. plus a brand new market to tell you about.

But first, a shoutout to the markets already up and running for the season.

The Pikeville market is back along with the one in Mentone, Alabama.

And the Ooltewah and Main Street markets kept rolling through the winter.

But the biggest of all… Chattanooga’s Downtown Market returns this weekend at the First Horizon Pavilion next to Finley Stadium.

They kick it off with a two day market on Saturday and Sunday.

But we’re excited to add a new farmer’s market to the area this weekend.

The Rabbit Valley Farmers Market debuts on Saturday in Ringgold.

They promise us the usual mix of craft vendors, food trucks and music, plus local crops.

Rabbit Valley will continue each Saturday through October.

You’ll find them at the Ringgold Market Pavilion from 9 A-M thru 1 P-M.

And we have more markets coming..

Walker County’s Market returns next weekend at the Ag Center in Rock Spring.

And Alton Park’s Farm and Market has their Grand Opening on May First.

Right now, you can find locally sourced meat, poultry and cool weather veggies at the markets… with local strawberries coming in the next few weeks.

We can’t wait.

If you go out this weekend send us some photos or any good news you find to news@wdef.com.

Or post it on our News 12 Now Facebook page.
