UPDATE: Suspect in Coolidge Park shooting arrested, Chattanooga PD says

UPDATE: A man has been arrested in connection to a shooting that happened at Coolidge Park recently, the Chattanooga Police Department said.

Scyhuler Davis, 21, has been charged with reckless endangerment and was booked into the Hamilton County Jail.

The department said Davis initially represented himself as a victim in the shooting, but further investigation determined Davis to be the suspect.

PREVIOUS STORY: Chattanooga police are investigating a Sunday evening shooting at Coolidge Park that left two men shot; one 31 years old, the other 21. Both men had what police describe as non-life-threatening injuries.

Police were dispatched to 150 River Street Sunday at about 6:29pm for a report of shots being fired.

When they arrived, their found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a  hospital by Hamilton County EMS.

While conducting their investigation at the scene, police learned that a second victim had arrived at a local hospital by a private vehicle, and was also suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Both men told police that they were in the area of Coolidge Park when the shooting began.
