Shooting on East 26th Street

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Early Saturday afternoon, Chattanooga Police responded to the 1600 block of East 26th Street on a person shot.

Upon arrival, police located the male victim, 57-years old, suffering from a non life-threatening gunshot wound.

Hamilton County EMS responded and transported the victim to a local hospital.

Officers secured the scene and called for a Violent Crimes Investigator to respond.
