Emily’s List of Weekend Activities – December 28, 2018

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There’s a lot to do in Chattanooga, and in nearby cities this weekend.

If you like Janis Joplin, head over to Songbirds Friday night to see the Jess Goggans Band pay tribute to the rock star.

The show starts at 9 p.m. at the south stage.

In Atlanta, you can check out some pro-basketball by watching the Atlanta Hawks take on the Cleveland Cavaliers Saturday night.

The game starts at 7:30 p.m. at the State Farm Arena.

Christmas may be over, but it’s still not too late to see a festive ballet performance.

The Moscow Ballet’s version of the Great Russian Nutcracker will be at the Tivoli Theatre on Sunday afternoon.

There are two performances at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.

One of Chattanooga’s most popular tourist attractions is celebrating 90 years this weekend.

Head over to Ruby Falls on Sunday for their Discovery Day event.

It’s happening from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and there are some perks if you’re one of the first 90 guests there.
