Motorcyclist run over after being thrown from his bike

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police are investigating a crash Thursday night that killed a motorcycle driver.

It happened around 9:30 in the 2700 block of Dodds Avenue.

Investigators say an SUV was making a left turn onto East 28th Street, the motorcycle hit it going through the intersection.

The motorcyclist was thrown to the ground and then run over by a minivan.

Police have identified the motorcyclist as 42 year old Willie Person.
