Police looking for a suspect in Glenwood shooting

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police say two men were fighting before a deadly shooting Wednesday afternoon in Glenwood.

It happened before 5 PM in the 1100 block of Arlington Avenue.

Police arrived to find a man had been shot and killed.

Witnesses told them that 41 year old Cortez Alford was in a fight with another man when it happened.

The suspect fled the scene.

Police found a firearm nearby.

They have not released a description of the suspect.
