Woman charged with home invasion and shooting

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Chattanooga Police charge a woman with a Home Invasion shooting from a month ago.

Investigators say 21 year old Autumn Gibson shot 38 year old Miguel Doriste.

The incident happened on June 7th just after midnight in the 500 block of Central Drive.

Police found Doriste suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

Now, a month later, they have charged Gibson with Attempted Criminal Homicide and Especially Aggravated Robbery.

Just last week, she was arrested on charges of theft, fraudulent use of a credit card and financial exploitation of an elderly adult.
