Emily’s List of Weekday Activities – September 27, 2018

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — There’s a lot to do in Chattanooga this week.

The Hunter Museum of American Art is hosting its own family friendly event this Thursday – a Night at the Museum.

There will be scavenger hunts focused on the museum’s art collection by African American artists, plus craft making activities and music.

The event starts at 5:30 p.m.

The Levitt AMP Music Series is also happening this Thursday night.

Chantae Cann, who does contemporary jazz music, will be performing at 6 p.m. at the Bessie Smith Cultural Center lawn.

If you’d rather check out the Chattanooga Symphony and Opera, they’re performing Piazzolla’s Four Seasons at the Tivoli Theatre on Thursday for their opening night.

It’s a tribute to Hispanic Heritage Month.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m.

It may not feel like it, but it’s finally fall, ya’ll, and you can celebrate at Alpine Crest Elementary for their annual fall festival.

The festival includes food, inflatables, a petting zoo, face painting, and more.

It starts at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
