The Big Riverbend Reveal is coming this week

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – The mystery over what form this summer’s Riverbend Festival will take should be revealed this week.

Friends of the Festival have called a press conference for Thursday Evening.

They plan to announce their first major act for the Coke Stage and plenty of changes to the site and the festival.

The unconfirmed reports so far have the festival getting shorter, more expensive, with new bookers this year.

Normally, the festival would have released most of their lineup by this point.

Hopefully, all will be revealed this week.

The changes have been influenced by last year’s Moon River Festival at Coolidge Park.

On Monday, that festival confirmed they are returning to Chattanooga in 2019.

They confirmed the dates of Sept. 7 & 8.
