CFD helps woman out of burning home

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- The Chattanooga Fire Department helped an East Lake woman out of her burning home.

The fire happened at 4100 13th Avenue.

A good Samaritan noticed the house was on fire and called 9-1-1.

The woman was not injured in the fire.

The fire was extinguished in less than 20 minutes.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
