Tivoli Foundation presents: Broadway at the Memorial Auditorium

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee (WDEF)– Broadway will be back in Chattanooga for the 2021-22 season after being unable to complete last year’s show schedule.

The arts have been some of those hardest hit financially by the pandemic.

Fiddler on the Roof in April and Waitress in June were canceled last year.

But as things continue to reopen the show must go on and Waitress will be one of the shows in this season’s line up and the Tivoli Theatre Foundation will once again be presenting its Broadway at the Memorial auditorium.

Vice president and Managing Director of Chattanooga Zach Hurst said he’s happy to be back out and see the community being able to gather again to enjoy shows.

“We got interrupted last year. We got a few shows in but even towards the end it was kind of iffy and what was going on with the pandemic and the last couple shows got canceled. We’ve missed it, we’ve missed every community gathering and all these bigger events we can attend. For me personally, and for the company too, Broadway and supporting Tivoli Foundation is a big part of that,” said Hurst.
